Refunds & Returns Policy

We do our best to offer clear, kind policies that respect your time, energy, and investment. The short version: we’ll be fair, you’ll be honest, and we’ll find the most caring solution available within these guidelines.

1:1 Services: reschedule ≥ 24 hours; completed sessions are non‑refundable.
Workshops/Circles: full refund up to 7 days before; partial within 3–6 days; no refunds within 48 hours.
Retreats: deposit is non‑refundable; tiered refunds up to 30 days before.
Digital Products: non‑refundable once accessed, except for technical issues we cannot resolve.
Physical Goods: return within 30 days unused/undamaged.

This Policy applies to purchases made directly through Pathen (site, checkout links, or in person). If you purchased via a third party (e.g., an event platform), their policy may apply.


1) 1:1 Services (Mentoring/Coaching/Sessions)

Rescheduling: You may reschedule a session up to 24 hours before your appointment via your confirmation email or by contacting us at info@pathen.app. Late changes (<24 hours) or no‑shows are chargeable and non‑refundable.

Cancellations & refunds:

  • Single sessions: Cancel 48 hours or more before the start time for a full refund. Within 24–48 hours: 50% refund. Less than 24 hours: no refund.

  • Packages (multi‑session): You may request a prorated refund for unused sessions within 14 days of your first session. Completed sessions are not refundable. Any bonuses or discounts will be re‑calculated if you partially refund a package.

Payment plans: If you’re on a plan and cancel, you’re responsible for fees covering completed sessions; unused portions may be refundable per above. Missed payments may pause access.

Satisfaction: If something felt off, email us within 72 hours of your session—we’ll review with care and see what’s possible (credit, another guide, etc.).


2) Group Workshops, Circles & Classes (virtual or in person)

  • 7+ days before the start: Full refund or free transfer to another date/participant.

  • 3–6 days before: 50% refund or free transfer.

  • Within 48 hours: Non‑refundable; you may gift or transfer your spot.

Minimum enrollment: If we cancel due to low enrollment or facilitator illness, you’ll choose a full refund or credit.


3) Retreats & Multi‑Day Events

Retreats require more planning and non‑recoverable costs (venues, vendors). Unless otherwise stated on the retreat page:

  • Deposit: Non‑refundable and non‑transferable.

  • Up to 30 days before start: refund of payments minus deposit.

  • 15–29 days before: 50% refund of payments minus deposit.

  • Within 14 days: No refunds.

  • Transfers: You may transfer your booking to another participant you find, up to 7 days before the start, pending our approval.

Travel & insurance: Travel costs are your responsibility. We strongly recommend travel insurance that covers cancellations, medical needs, and disruptions.

Force majeure: If events beyond our control require changes or cancellation, we’ll offer a reasonable alternative, credit, or refund per what’s feasible.


4) Digital Products (ebooks, guides, recordings)

Because access is delivered instantly, digital items are non‑refundable once downloaded or streamed. We’ll always help with tech issues.

Exceptions we honor:

  • Duplicate purchase of the same item within 7 days (refund one).

  • Technical issues we cannot resolve within 7 days of your request (refund or credit).


5) Physical Goods (if applicable)

Returns window: You may return eligible items within 30 days of delivery.

Eligibility: Unused, unwashed, and in original packaging with tags. Non‑returnable: perishable items, made‑to‑order/personalized goods, gift cards, final‑sale/clearance.

Condition issues: If something arrives damaged or incorrect, email info@pathen.app with photos within 7 days of delivery—we’ll replace or refund.

Return shipping: Unless the item is defective/incorrect, you’re responsible for return shipping. Use a trackable service; we can’t refund items we don’t receive.

Exchanges: Fastest method is to place a new order and return the original item. For size exchanges (apparel), email us first to confirm stock.


6) How to Request a Refund or Return

Email info@pathen.app with:

  • Full name and order email

  • Order number/receipt

  • Item/service and date

  • Reason for the request

  • For physical goods: photos (if damaged/incorrect)

We’ll reply with next steps within 2–3 business days.

Refund timing: Once approved, refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. Your bank/card may need additional time to post the credit.

Credits: If you prefer, we can issue a store/service credit with no expiration.


7) Sliding Scale, Scholarships & Donations

Sliding‑scale choices, scholarship awards, and voluntary donations are not refundable, but we can often transfer unused credits to another date or person—just ask.


8) Local & International Consumer Rights

We follow applicable consumer protection laws. If you’re in the EU/UK, you may have a 14‑day cooling‑off period for certain distance purchases. Exceptions commonly apply to:

  • Services scheduled for a specific date/time (e.g., events, sessions)

  • Digital downloads once access begins

  • Personalized or made‑to‑order goods

If these rights apply to your purchase, we’ll honor them—email us and we’ll help.


9) Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The effective date above reflects the latest version.
